The JKSSB is in receipt of several complaints from candidates, who are going to appear in OMR Based Objective Type Written examinations conducted by the Board for the posts of Accounts Assistant (Panchayat) in Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, advertised vide Advertisement Notification No 02 of 2020 on 10th of November, 2020 (Tuesday), that some people have been calling/mailing them and demanding bribe (monetary consideration) in lieu of providing question papers and their selection in the written test. It has been alleged that said people are claiming to be representatives of the JKSSB.
As such, the Board advises all the candidates/applicants not to fall into the trap of such fraudsters/unscrupulous elements. The Board further clarifies that no employee of JKSSB has any access to the confidential activities of the examination process. The Board also urges candidates to bring any such more incidents along with documentary proof to its notice immediately, for taking further necessary action in the matter. Issued in public interest.

Candidates appearing in various examinations conducted/scheduled by the J&K Services Selection Board are hereby informed that compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour of examination (with or without scribe) will be provided to the following eligible
candidates belonging to the Persons with Disability (PwD) category:
a) Visually Handicapped.
b) Cerebral Palsy.
c) Both Arms Affected.
d) In addition to above, with regard to a candidate with benchmark disability who has physical limitation to write and scribe is essential to write examination on his/ her behalf, such candidates will be required to submit a certificate at the examination venue, obtained from the Chief Medical Officer/Civil Surgeon/Medical Superintendent of a Government health care Institution.

Whereas, the concerned Observer SSB also verified the recommendation of Chief Education Officer, Srinagar and recommended to consider the same being justified, and aforesaid officer has decided to relocate the Centre is ratified in the interest of smooth conduct of examination relocate the said Examination Center of District Srinagar to such locations /venues which are having adequate seating capacity; and
Whereas, that action taken to relocate the Centre is ratified in the interest of smooth conduct of examination.
