It is for the information of the candidates who have applied for the above said posts mentioned in Annexure “A” to this notice that their admit cards shall be available for downloading from today i.e 02nd of May, 2019 onwards (05.00 P.M) onwards from the JKSSB’s official website (www.jkssb.nic.in).

Candidates can get access to the admit cards from main homepage (Hall Ticket Computer Based Test(CBT) 09th to 13th May, 2019 ) by entering application number and Date of Birth except for the post of except Executive Officer, (Housing Urban Department). Instructions for candidates appearing in the Computer Based Test(s) (CBTs for various posts) w.e.f 09th to 13th of May, 2019.

Opening of the main gate for the candidates as per the Examination Reporting Time shown on admit card. Checking of original admit card along-with Govt. Photo ID proof by the Centre Staff (The admit card must be a print out of the downloaded admit card). In case the photograph is missing or mismatching of photograph/signature on admit card, candidate needs to affix latest passport size photo and also bring four copies of same photograph with him/her. A record of same shall be maintained by Observer at the centre and same needs to be deposited at the SSB office.

Disparity Cases – ADMIT CARD & OTHER DOCUMENT

x If a candidate does not bring the downloaded Admit Card, He/She will not be allowed to appear in the CBT.
x If a candidate does not bring the Photo ID Proof but downloaded Admit Card. He/She will be allowed subject to permission of Observer at the centre. x If a candidate brings only Photo ID Proof, He/She will not be allowed.
x On reporting to the test centre, candidate will be registered, assigned to a particular workstation. The proctors will guide the candidate to the workstation.
x Candidates are advised not to carry any belongings except pencil & pen to the workstation allotted. x Calculators, pagers, mobile phones, electronic watch and any other electronic gadgets are not permitted inside the examination hall.
x For rough work purpose sheets of paper will be provided at the workstation.

x The administrator is authorized to dismiss candidate from the test session for any of the following reasons:

Creating disturbance.
Attempting to take the test on behalf of someone else (Impersonation).

Use of calculators, slide rules, pagers, mobile phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or any other material that may aid in answering questions.

2. The candidate having objections/claims with respect to answer keys, if any, can upload the same, along-with documentary evidence/ reference from 15th to 19th of May, 2019.

Important Instructions:

For Question Paper, Answer Key and Candidate Response: Candidates are required to login with their Roll No. and Test Password shown on their Admit Card to view his/her Question Paper, Correct Responses and answers submitted by the candidate.

For Submitting Representation: Candidates are requested to login with their Roll No. and Test Password shown on their Admit Card to view the Answer Key. Against each question, there is a button for representation. Candidate may click the same.

1. Particulars in the admit card shall be carefully checked. Error, if any, should be immediately reported to the J&K SSB, Srinagar/Jammu.

2. This is OMR Based Objective Type Written Exam.

3. Entry to examination hall shall be regulated strictly as per admit card.

4. Do not carry any calculator, mobile phone, Bluetooth Device, Paper, Notes, Book, Scanning Device, Pager, Headphone, Earplugs, Laptop, iPad, Tablet PC or any other computing/communication/electronic device into the venue. Candidates shall be responsible for safe-keeping of such materials outside the Venue because arrangement for their safekeeping cannot be assured by JKSSB. If you are found/caught using/possessing such devices / unauthorized materials or indulging in copying / impersonation or adopting unfair means / found damaging any property in the examination centre, you shall be expelled from the examination hall and summarily disqualified for any examination of the J&K SSB for a period of FIVE (05) YEARS besides criminal / penal action under law.

5. Do not attempt to give or obtain unfair assistance of any kind as the same shall entail your expulsion from examination centre and disqualification for any examination of the J&K SSB for a period of Five (05) YEARS.

6. Do not indulge in any improper conduct as the same will entail your expulsion from the examination hall and disqualification from any examination of the J&K SSB for a period of Five (05) YEARS.

7. Candidate to report 1 (One) Hour before the start of test of exam time. Late entry will not be allowed in the exam centre and no one will be allowed to leave before the completion of the exam.

8. You will not be permitted entry into written test venue without the admit card and photo identity card. Please note
that apart from admit card, you are also required to produce a photo identity card (Voter Identity Card / Driving License / Passport /Aadhar Card/ Pan Card / Ration Card / Student Identity Card / Identity Card Issued by Competent Authority) as proof of your identity at the time of the exam.

9. Your candidature is provisional, and you cannot claim your selection on the basis of admit card. The admit card is being issued on the basis of information filled by you in the application form. In case it is found at later stage that you do not fulfil any of the eligibility condition, your candidature will stand cancelled.

10. Answer key will be available on JKSSB website from 20th of May, 2019 onwards. You can submit Objections / Representations to any question from 20th to 22nd of May, 2019, through an online link available on the official website of J&K SSB i.e www.jkssb.nic.in. Objections / representations will not be entertained in any other format i.e. hand written etc. and after above mentioned dates.

JKPSC Range Officer Grade-I Forest (Territorial) – Walking test.

It is for information of the candidates who have been declared to have qualified the Ranger’s Qualifying Examination vide Notification No. PSC/EXAM/22/2019 dated: 13.03.2019, that their walking test shall be conducted on 21.05.2019 from Nehru Park to Habak & back covered in 04 hours starting at 07:30 am.

The concerned candidates are informed to report at the venue mentioned above at 07:00 AM on 21.05.2019 positively, failing which their candidature shall stand cancelled.

Criteria of selection for the posts advertised specific for Five New Medical Colleges (Advertisement Notification No 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 and 08 of 2019)- regarding.

In terms of SRO 57 of Health and Medical Education Department dated 17th of January, 2019, the Board has approved the selection criteria for the posts advertised specific for Five New Medical Colleges, in its 152nd Meeting, which is as under.

2. There will be no Viva for all these posts.

3. The candidates shall be shortlisted for each item in the ratio of 1:5 for Counselling and Documents verification only on the basis of merit acquired by the candidate in the written test.

4. A provisional shortlist will be notified requiring the candidates to appear for counselling along with their Original documents/certificates. A candidate would finally be recommended, as selected, to the concerned department only after his/her eligibility is found to be in order as per the rules.

5. Any such, candidate who remains absent or fails to produce his/her documents shall be declared “disqualified”. The candidates are as such being notified in advance to keep their documents ready for the counselling sessions.
