JKSSB Instructions for Walk Test of Forester / Social Forestry Worker / Wildlife Foresters / Wildlife Guard / Forest Guard.

The Walk Test of Kashmir Based Candidates for the posts of Forester / SocialForestry Worker / Wildlife Foresters / Wildlife Guard / Forest Guard is being conductedat SIDCO Industrial Estate, Near Ompora Housing Colony, Budgam.

In order to ensure smooth conduct of Walk Test, the following instructions are issued for the benefit of candidates:-

1. Candidates are advised to report for Walk Test alongwith their identity card as well asvadmit card.
2. Candidates are advised not to carry bags with them as it causes inconvenience to them while walking.
3. Candidates are advised to wear numbered Bib on chest, which will be provided at venue.
4. Candidates are advised to wear RFID (Chip) on both feet facing towards outside and lock their chips with lock, which will be provided.
5. To get registration done in the beginning.
6. Mark attendance by facing camera.
7. Move upto start point and start walking by stepping on mats.
8. The time of the candidate will commence once his/her feet touch the mat. For male candidates one complete round is of 2.5 Kms and he has to undertake 10 rounds comprising of 25 Kms in 4 hours duration.
9. Every candidate has to count his/her own rounds.
10. After completion of Walk Test candidate has to report to close point and ensure that his/her RFID chip and bib are returned back.
11. The result of all qualified/non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the website of J&KSSB viz www.jkssb.nic.in
12. The timing clocked will also be available against each candidate.

Note:

All other instructions issued at the time of commencement of walk test shall also be adhered to by the candidates. The Entire process of Walk Test is being conducted under CCTV surveillance and any unfair process undertaken by the candidate will entitle his/her disqualification.

JKSSB Tentative Schedule of Written Exams in November 2017

1. It is for the information of all the candidates who have applied for the items/advertisements shown hereunder that the Objective Type Written exam for the said posts is scheduled to be held in the month of November, 2017.
2. The syllabi are as such being annexed herewith for the information of the candidates.
3. The candidates are also hereby being intimated that there shall be negative marking for wrong answers (0.25 for each wrong answer) attempted in the said examination. The exam shall be Computer Based for which a link shall also be provided subsequently to the candidates for acquaintance. Detailed criteria shall be notified by the Board for each item separately.
4. Issuance of Admit cards shall also be notified later.
5. This advance notice is for the purpose of intimation to the concerned candidates only. The schedule of those items of similar advertisement which is not figuring in the said notice shall be intimated subsequently.

JKSSB Walk Test Assistant Survey Officer and Field Assistant Forest Deptt

Conduct of Walk Test for the posts of Assistant Survey Officer and Field Assistant, (Forest Department) Divisional Cadre Kashmir Item No 008 and 009 Advertised Notice No 01 of 2015-downloading of admit cards thereof.

It is notified for the information of the candidates shown at Annexure “A” of this notice who have
qualified the written test and have been shortlisted for the posts of Assistant Survey Officer and
Field Assistant, (Forest Department) Divisional Cadre Kashmir Item No 008 and
009 Advertised Notice No 01 of 2015, that the J&K Services Selection Board is scheduled to
conduct their WALK TEST on 16th of October 2017 at 10.00 A.M Sharp at SIDCO Industrial Estate, Ompora, Near Ompora Housing Colony, Budgam. The candidates can download admit cards from the official website of the J&K Service Selection Board (www.jkssb.nic.in) from today i.e 14-10-2017 from 12.00 Noon onwards.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOWNLOADING ADMIT CARDS FOR WALK TEST

Visit the official website of the Board, Click on “ADMIT CARD FOR APPEARING IN WALK TEST”.
Subsequently, the candidate has to provide / input his / her NAME and APPLICATION FORM (as mentioned on the application form) for downloading the Admit Card.
In case, the Admit Card does not have photograph or signature on it, paste a good quality photograph duly attested by the Gazetted Officer as was pasted on OMR sheet/ on the online application form and make sure to sign at the space provided for signature; besides, such candidates shall bring same photograph (04 in number) at the time of Walk Test.
In case of any discrepancy in the Admit Card, candidate should contact the following officers immediately and in any case before the start of examination:-
(A) Administrative Officer, J&K Services Selection Board, Parray Pora, Srinagar.
No TA / DA shall be paid by the Board for appearing for the walk test.

Candidate is required to be graduate from any recognized university with knowledge of type writing having not less than 35 words speed per minute and six months certificate course in computer from a recognized institute.
It is further clarified that candidate having degrees like BCA, BCS, BCM, BE/B.Tech (computer/ IT), MCA, MCS, MCM, BSc (IT), MSc (IT), ME/M.Tech (computer/ IT) or BSc (with computer as a subject) are not required to possess the six months certificate course in computer from a recognized institute.

Age Limit for JKSSB School Education Department Jobs

(i) Not below 18 years; and
(ii) Not above:-
(a) 40 years in case of Open Merit.
(b) 43 years in case of SC / ST/ RBA/ ALC/ OSC candidates.
(c) 42 years in case of Physically Challenged candidates.
